Via Happō-ike to Karamatsu

From Happōike-Sansō, the climb passes Happō-ike and then follows the green ridge above Hakuba. We reach Karamatsudake Chōjō-Sansō around 5 p.m., then make a return climb to the summit, at 2,696 m, above the golden clouds of sunset.
