Up the Ichinosawa

The trail heads up the Ichinosawa valley, following the stream through the forest and then passing among flowers to Jōnen-Goya on the Jōnen-Nokkoshi pass. A late-afternoon walk on the slopes of Jōnen-dake offers views of the snowy peaks before the night at the hut.
