A forest bowed by snow

From Chūō-kōgen, the route passes Goro-dake and Torikabuto-san. The large formations of rime from the previous day give way to trees bent under the snow and views over the wooded slopes. Below, the roofs of Zaō also carry a thick white layer.

Trees bowed under the weight of fresh snow, on the summit of Torikabuto-yama (鳥兜山), at about 1,390 m.
