From the hut to Lake Okutama

Near Nanatsuishi-Goya, dawn turns the sky pink and Fuji appears at daybreak. We set off around 9:00 for the long descent through the forest, passing Haguro-jinja and Kamo-jinja among the red maples, before reaching the edge of Lake Okutama.
