Senjōgatake at daybreak

We leave Senjō-Goya in the dark and reach the summit of Senjōgatake, at 3,033 m, around 5 a.m., at sunrise. Back at the hut, we look out over the cirque in the morning light, then descend via Kosenjōgatake to Kitazawa-tōge.
