The two sides of Ontake

On August 28 and 29, 2010, the traverse of Ontake passes Gonoike-Goya between the top of the ropeway and Nigorigo-Onsen. Crater lakes, flowers growing among the stones and statues line the way across the volcano’s upper slopes.
