Fuji behind the bare trees
In November, between Nippara and Takanosu-yama, the trees on the Okutama ridges are bare and Fuji appears beyond the bluish ridgelines. As night falls, we abandon the climb to Kumotori and head for Nanatsuishi-Goya. A pink dawn precedes the descent to Lake Okutama.
